The panel only approved the booster for senior citizens and for adults with underlying health risks. But the FDA has the final say.
Amtrak passenger train derails and kills three
An Amtrak passenger train in Montana derailed on Sunday, killing three people and injuring dozens. Eight of the ten cars derailed, and Amtrak said in a statement that 141 passengers and 17 crew members were aboard at the time. No official reason has been given for the accident.

SATC actor Willie Garson passes away
Willie Garson, a mainstay of American pop culture who was most famous for his role as Carrie Bradshaw’s best friend Stanford Blatch in Sex and the City, died in the afternoon of Sep. 21. His New York Times obituary confirmed the cause of death as pancreatic cancer. Garson had already filmed scenes for the SATC reboot And Just Like That…. He was 57.
